As a Fieldwork Services Buyer, you will get the opportunity to assist all of our global research teams in obtaining and evaluating proposals with fieldwork partners from all over the world. You will work in close contact with the Fieldwork Procurement and Supply Chain managers

  • Evaluating, sending, tracking and collating requests for quotations (RFQ)
  • Being a first point of contact for our fieldwork suppliers
  • Preparing analyses of quotations for specific markets / agencies
  • Maintaining and developing critical outsourcing databases
  • Obtaining and disseminating cultural learnings

Looking to begin a career in IT? Full training is provided within MMR’s apprenticeship scheme which will allow you to work within an IT role whilst working towards an industry recognised qualification.

Due to continued global expansion an opportunity has arisen for an IT Apprentice to join our busy IT team based in our head office in Wallingford, Oxfordshire. You will help to provide a first-class level of support to our staff globally, whilst studying for an IT qualification.

As an IT apprentice, you will shadow our IT support team and provide 1st line IT support to employees, aiding and assisting other members of the support team where necessary. On a daily basis, the team can deal with a variety of requests, ranging from desktop and server support queries through to infrastructure project planning and implementation. We encourage new ideas and suggestions within the team for all our new technology projects, and are continually updating and improving our Infrastructure and support services.

You should have a keen interest in technology as well as strong communication skills and the ability to multi-task. A flexible, can-do attitude is essential to enable us to provide effective IT support to our offices internationally.

We are looking for a highly engaged and motivated Trainee Statistician to join our existing team of 8 Statisticians and Data Scientists primarily based in the UK offices who work across and support our global network of regional hubs. This role is based in our head office in Wallingford, Oxfordshire (between cultural Oxford and lively Reading). We are happy to consider candidates who have recently graduated or those looking for the next step in their statistical career.

The role itself will be extremely varied, interesting and challenging, using a wide range of tools from basic stats applications through to linear and non-linear modelling, multivariate techniques and analysis of variance. You will work as part of a strong team and be involved from project inception (contributing ideas to research design and how the data is collected) right through to analysing the results and offering insight from a statistical perspective on the trends observed in the data. In addition, the MMR team are constantly innovating and there will be many opportunities to help develop new techniques and refine existing ones in a highly stimulating and rewarding working environment.

Comprehensive training is offered to provide a solid induction into the application of advanced stats & analytics techniques in the research process, and in the use and application of our proprietary MMR methods and approaches.

Skills & Experience:

  • Either an MSc in Statistics or a degree which includes a minimum of 75% statistics (2:1 or above).
  • Experience of a range of statistical techniques, ideally including multivariate analysis, experimental design and statistical modelling.
  • Highly computer literate with skills in Excel and statistical software (ideally SAS)
  • Good time management & ability to multi-task effectively
  • Strong communication skills

Learn a new skill and help bring products to life!

MMR Research Worldwide specialise in consumer and sensory market research in the food, drink, personal and household care sectors.

We are currently looking for articulate and collaborative people to join our sensory team based in Brentford. Using the new skills that you’ll learn, you will be required to sample all sorts of oral health and skincare products.

No prior knowledge is required as full training will be given.

This is a permanent part-time role; 1:30pm - 4:30pm Monday to Thursday.
