Role

As a Research Executive, you will assist team members with running market research projects, involving client liaison and project management from research design through to final debrief presentations. Responsibilities include:

  • Designing and organising fieldwork in the UK and overseas
  • Creating questionnaires against client objectives
  • Analysing data (both quantitatively and qualitatively)
  • Creating insightful presentations

The work covers a range of ad hoc projects, typically involving quantitative and qualitative research, and both traditional and online fieldwork in the UK and internationally. With MMR’s focus on developing new and better research methods and sophisticated analysis techniques, the role offers the opportunity to gain experience of several novel and exciting approaches to conducting research and interpreting data.

Skills and Qualities

  • Previous experience within an ad hoc agency environment essential
  • Quantitative experience essential and exposure to qualitative beneficial
  • Experience of involvement in report writing essential
  • Ability to tell a story from the data is desirable

We are looking for an energetic, self-motivated and passionate individual to join our dedicated qualitative team as a Qualitative Senior Research Executive to be based in either our head office in Wallingford, Oxfordshire, or our central London office. Our specialist qualitative team collaborate on projects with account teams to lend qualitative weight to projects at all stages usually involving writing proposals, conducting fieldwork and writing reports (project management and admin tasks are normally handled within the account teams). Fieldwork could take place both nationally and overseas, so the flexibility to travel as and when required is essential.

Wallingford, UK; First Line IT Support Engineer

We are currently recruiting for a talented and driven individual to join our busy technical team based out of our head office in Oxfordshire. We provide fully featured IT services to our users in the UK and globally. Due to continued global expansion, a rare opportunity has arisen for a 1st Line IT Support Engineer to join our team to provide a first-class service to our users.

On daily basis, the team can deal with a lot of different requests, ranging from desktop support queries through to infrastructure project planning and implementation. As the Support Engineer, you will be taking ownership of user support queries, Prioritising and resolving them in accordance with agreed SLA’s. You will be troubleshooting issues primarily through our remote system, visiting site when necessary for onsite support and project work. You will be the first point of contact for any IT related queries, prioritising and escalating tasks through the team as necessary.

In addition to this you will be involved in project planning and implementation. As a team, everyone has the chance to offer ideas and support for all our new technology projects. We are continually updating and improving our Infrastructure and support services.

Essential Experience

  • 1st Line support experience – Prioritising issues and working to SLA’s.
  • Strong Knowledge of Microsoft operating systems 7 and 10.
  • Strong Understanding of Computer Hardware & Components.
  • Previous experience working in a Windows Active Directory environment.
  • Understanding of Computer Networks (LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, DHCP and DNS).
  • Some Exposure to desktop imaging technologies (WDS, MDT).

Desirable Experience

  • Previous experience working with Office 365.
  • An Understanding of Firewalls.
  • Any experience with Windows Server 2008/2012 and 2016.
  • Exposure to Virtualised server environment.
  • Knowledge of Cisco Switches & Meraki Access Points.
  • Working to deadlines & time management skills.

London, UK; Part-time Sensory Panellists

Learn a new skill and help bring products to life in a permanent part-time role!

MMR Research Worldwide specialise in consumer and sensory market research in the food, drink, personal and household care sectors.

We are currently looking for articulate and collaborative people for future opportunities on our sensory team based in Brentford. Using the new skills that you’ll learn, you will be required to sample all sorts of oral health and skincare products.

Responsibilities:

  • Working individually and within a team to evaluate products within the oral health and skincare industry.
  • Products range from toothpaste and mouthwash to moisturising creams.

Hours:

  • Monday to Thursday, 9.30am - 12.30pm OR 1.30pm to 4.30pm.
  • Flexibility to work on projects at home if required (on rare occasions)

Requirements:

  • No experience necessary (full training provided)
  • Good sensory acuity (this will be tested at a screening session),
  • The ability to articulate yourself effectively in front of others.
  • You should not have any food intolerances / allergies, smoke / vape, mouth piercings or be on regular medication
