Sometimes it just doesn't seem like you have enough time to prepare for the opportunity of a lifetime. This was a problem recently faced by a design agency - a new client for MMR.

With a week to prepare, a direction needed to be developed that could wow a blue chip company sufficiently to land a major marketing and design contract. Other obstacles included a category in disarray due to an unstable economic climate, a target respondent with less than 1% incidence, a limited budget ....oh and 4 working days to sort it all out!

A quick phone call to MMR to discuss the problem and a solution was devised - Bulletin Board Focus Groups. After receipt of the brief a discussion guide was developed and agreed by the following morning, and target respondents were recruited to participate after the weekend. Two groups were conducted to identify the scale of the issue and explore two different possible counter-strategies. A full report on the findings delivered the following morning. Job done - happy client.
