Ellie has a PhD in wine science from the University of Adelaide and the Australian Wine Research Institute, and specialized in sensory science and multivariate statistics for a post-doctorate at UC Davis.

Ellie has had a charmed life so far, working in wineries all over the globe as well as a stint as a sensory consultant in California, before joining MMR in 2017.

Ellie delivers sensory research to our clients enabling them to make informed decisions about product development and innovation.

You'll probably find Ellie exploring the East coast food scene when she's not at work, failing that she'll be enjoying an adrenaline rush from snowboarding, biking or rock-climbing.

Ellie is also a member of a number of professional committees, including ASTM Sensory Committee, Institute of Food Technologists (IFT) and Society of Sensory Professionals (SSP).
