Trainee Research Executive - London

We are looking for an exceptional Graduate/Masters/PhD holder to join our team a Trainee Research Executive and build a career in Consumer and Sensory Market Research.

This entry level position is to be based in our Central London (Blackfriars) office.

    Account Director - Market Research - London

    Are you an experienced market research professional looking for an exciting next step in your career? Do you thrive in dynamic environments and enjoy both delivering fantastic work and developing strong client relationships?

    MMR Research Worldwide is looking for an ambitious, energetic and self-motivated Associate Director - Market Research to join our growing London research team to help manage and drive growth on global client accounts within the FMCG industry.

    This is a client-facing role within the research team, with the primary aim of developing client accounts by growing, managing and maintaining strong client relationships. Key responsibilities within the role will include proactively developing client relationships, advising on appropriate research design for various client challenges, impactful proposal writing and taking responsibility for quality of project delivery. This means adding value to debrief presentations via data interpretation and commercial awareness skills to ensure actionable results consistently land with stakeholders. The focus of business development will be in strengthening immediate client relationships, extending relationships within the client company beyond immediate contacts as well as helping develop brand new relationships.

    As a hands-on researcher with sector knowledge, commitment to excellence in delivery, a proactive working style and assured confidence, you will be able to add real insight at debriefs and have a track record of developing client accounts. Experience in, and enjoyment of management is essential as you will be required to help coach and mentor more junior team members. This coaching and mentoring aspect will require you to build a complete understanding of the full project cycle in order to be able to help develop others.

    Agency experience (ideally ad hoc) is essential for this role. Much of MMR’s work is within the food, drink, household care and personal care industry so relevant experience of this sector is advantageous and product testing experience is ideal. Experience within both small and large agencies would be beneficial. Quant experience is essential and qual is desirable (though not necessarily as a practitioner). It is also vital that you have strong self-management and communications skills.

    Qualitative Research Manager - London or Wallingford (Oxon)

    Are you a qualitative researcher looking for an exciting next step in your career? Do you enjoy working on high profile global accounts within the FMCG industry?

    Role

    We are looking for an exceptional qualitative researcher who is energetic, innovative and enthusiastic individual to join our dedicated qualitative team as a Qualitative Research Manager to be based either in our Oxfordshire head office or our Central London Blackfriars office.

    Our specialist qualitative team work across many of our account teams to lend qualitative weight to projects at all stages of the project cycle. Key responsibilities will include planning individual projects from start to finish, being hands on in terms of fieldwork (moderating workshops/focus groups/IDIs etc), client liaison and report writing. Experience of and an interest in online qualitative research would also be highly desirable.

    As well as offering a wide range of both traditional and more creative techniques, MMR has developed unique qualitative approaches that helps clients create and shape detailed product briefs right at the start of the innovation process. One approach, called EROS brings together the clients R&D and marketing teams, MMR’s qualitative, sensory and product experts and creative, sensorially articulate consumers. It really plays to our strengths and has proven very popular with clients, and is definitely one of the reasons why the qual function’s grown so strongly.

    As many of our projects are multinational, this role also provides a great opportunity to travel internationally and work across different cultures all over the world.
